Golden Wonder tubers are long and oval with a russet skin. The flesh is white and floury which when boiled can be very dry and mealy to the delight of many. They are a late maturing maincrop and should be planted as early as possible to produce a large crop. They have great resistance to common scab.

A top tip for growing Golden Wonder or any other late maincrop is to buy these potatoes early in the year and put them into some small pots with some good general purpose compost. This will allow the late maincrops to get off to a flying start and then you can simply transplant them outside later on.
