The Bishop (1912) This relatively low yielding late maincrop was produced by Dr. J. H. Wilson of St Andrew's University. This variety is considerd by many exhibitors to be the best long, white kidney available for late shows. It is certainly very attractive and after speaking with Medwyn Williams and many other keen exhibitors we have decided to produce this variety as minitubers.. The tubers are firm and waxy and have good long term storage.
